Þingvangur has begun construction work at Kirkjusandur for Bjarg Housing Association.
A contract was signed on June 4 for the construction of 80 apartments for the association at Hallgerðargata Street.
The apartments will come in various sizes and will be located across eight buildings made of concrete and timber.
The first apartments are scheduled to be handed over in autumn 2020.
